OZYMANDIAS WINES

The Ozymandias Wines Scholarship

A partnership with the New York Academy of Art. We fund an emerging artist and put their work on the label of a limited-edition bottle.

What the selected artist receives

The award does a few real things at once. It puts money towards an artist's schooling, buys the work outright, and gets their work in front of people.

Art Deserves Patronage

The winning piece is purchased outright by Ozymandias Wines. Artists deserve to be paid for their work, and we believe exceptional art should be collected, celebrated, and shared rather than simply borrowed for an occasion.

The original work becomes part of the Ozymandias collection while continuing its journey through exhibitions, events, and publications, ensuring it is seen by far more people than just us.

An Investment in the Artist

The purchase of the winning work helps fund the artist's second year of tuition at the New York Academy of Art, easing the financial burden that so often accompanies emerging artistic careers.

Ozymandias Wines was founded on the belief that patronage should do more than celebrate great work after it is created. It should help create the conditions for great work to continue.

A Label of Their Own

The winning work becomes the front label of a limited release of Ozymandias Wines, transforming the artwork into a collectible piece that lives both on the wall and in the world. The wine is poured at New York Academy of Art events, shared at Ozymandias gatherings, and made available to collectors and the public, carrying the artist's work to new audiences and places.

A portion of the release is gifted to the artist for use at exhibitions, openings, and studio events, and to share with collectors, patrons, and supporters as an extension of both the artwork and their practice.

A Stage for the Work

Ozymandias Wines events and exhibitions place the artist's work in front of collectors, patrons, curators, fellow artists, and a broader community of people who care deeply about art. The goal is simple: create opportunities for discovery, conversation, and connection that continue long after the evening ends.
